Smart Compass is a little app with several worthy features. This app supports both landscape and portrait mode (best serves in portrait as heading always remains fixed). Smart Compass also utilizes phone camera to give a realistic view with background. Users may adjust settings to disable background view. This app totally uses magnetic sensor of device to function. If your phone is missing it, you will not be able to use this app. Moreover, magnetic field surrounding your phone or tablet can affect performance of this app as interference is caused with sensor. For example, if you are using an external cover that has magnets in them that can badly affect compass performance. Remove that for accurate results. Also, some phones give calibration option to improve compass accuracy. Use that if you suspect results are not up to the mark. Metal detector and GPS are also supported by this app.
Smart Compass Pro version includes ads free experience, sending GPS info via SMS and email. That may charge you for phone data or SMS subscription. Full metal detector, Qibla and car finder are also the part of pro version.
